Error Log Viewer
What role does the Error Log Viewer serve? How exactly does it work? What information does it contain?
An error log is a detailed report of the warnings and error messages that site visitors faced as they were surfing around your website. This is the raw info that the hosting server has gathered and it could help you locate potential issues with your Internet site and solve them in a timely manner, so as to enhance the site’s efficiency and to increase the users’ total satisfaction. You can find several things inside an error log - the time when the error occurred, the specific path to the file the visitor couldn't access, the IP the request came from, and the reason why this request cannot be processed. There are different reasons for your site visitors to see an error message - a link which leads to a non-existent file, a script page that can't be processed in the correct way by the hosting server, a site access attempt by a blocked IP address, and so on.

Error Log Viewer in Shared Hosting
The Hepsia Control Panel, included with our
shared hosting accounts, shall make it very easy to generate and look at an error log for any site that you have inside your account. Once you log in, you have to navigate to the Access/Error Logs section and click on the On/Off button for the site that you want to keep tabs on. The button is available for every
domain name which you have hosted and every subdomain you have set up, so you can get a detailed log for each of them separately, as a way to be able to check out the websites for problems much easier. A second click on the same exact button will disable the function, but you'll still be able to get the log by clicking on the Download link, that's available in the very same section. When required, you can use software on your PC to process the raw web server info for statistical purposes.
